Terms and Conditions of City Express Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd.

1. Eligibility

Users must be at least 16 years old to use the City Express Money Transfer service, in accordance with Nepal’s legal age for citizenship.

2. Personal Information Collection
  • In-store Counter Transactions: Users will be required to provide personal information at the counter, including but not limited to identification details, contact information, and transaction-specific data.
  • City Pay App Transactions: Users will also need to provide personal details through the app, including identification, contact information, transaction details, and potentially bank account details if receiving money directly to a bank account.
  • Bank Transactions: When transferring or receiving money through a bank, users’ bank account information will be shared with City Express representatives to facilitate the transaction and ensure the proper execution of services.
3. Use of Information

Personal data collected through counter transactions, the City Pay app, or bank transfers will be used to facilitate the money transfer process, ensure security, comply with legal requirements (such as anti-money laundering), and offer customer support.

4. User Consent
  • By using the City Express services, users consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal information as required for the transaction.
  • Users must agree to the sharing of necessary information with City Express representatives or affiliated third-party partners to complete money transfers, including bank details for bank transfers.
5. Transaction Limits and Restrictions
  • Limits on the amount of money that can be transferred or received may apply, as determined by regulatory requirements and City Express policies.
  • Certain countries or regions may have additional restrictions or fees related to cross-border transactions.
6. Security
  • City Express employs industry-standard security measures to protect user data during transactions, including encryption and secure data storage.
  • Users must also take reasonable steps to protect their personal information, including their login credentials for City Pay and related services.
7. Third-Party Services

City Express may work with third-party affiliates, such as banks, to facilitate money transfers. These third parties will also adhere to privacy policies consistent with the protection of user data.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding transactions will be resolved in accordance with Nepalese law. City Express provides a grievance redressal mechanism for users who feel their transaction was handled improperly.

9. Limitation of Liability

City Express will not be held liable for any losses or damages resulting from delays, errors, or other issues in money transfer services caused by factors outside of its control, such as system outages or third-party failures.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

City Express reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services will be considered acceptance of the updated terms.
